There’s a lot going on
January will seem like a really long month. Work isn’t giving out a lot of hours for new hires. Working at a toy store sucks a lot.
Staying home all this time until school starts up would nice if only I enjoyed being at home. More on that in the future.
A couple of days ago my aunt told me that she still didn’t have anything done for my cousins’ Quinceañera yet. Did I mention it is in two weeks? About five months ago I offered to help her and my uncle plan her party because they both work. Everyone was excited and planning went well underway. I sat down with them a couple of times to talk about a time line of when things should get done, color schemes, and all that good stuff. Everything was going well until two months after when I stopped hearing anything from them. I asked a couple of times if they needed help with anything else and I took the hint as they didn’t want help with it. This really bummed me out for a long time afterwards since I really wanted to put this down as experience (I ultimately want to become a party planner).
So… getting back to the point. Right. I asked my little cousin what was going on since I need to advise my sucky butt work people as to when I need the day off. She just tells me nonchalantly it would be the 19th. Maybe of February. Nope. This month. They never sent out invitation in the beginning of December like I suggested, they still didn’t have dress for the poor girl. The only things that they got done were the down payments on the hall and the DJ. Well I don’t know if the DJ would get a down payment, but that’s what I was told. They managed to print out some invitations to give out to her friends, but she didn’t know where they live. She’s not getting those puppies out until tomorrow. Sure she’s got a good two weeks until then, but honestly who thinks that 12-16 year old kids are going to RSVP in time!
Phew.
Sorry for the long rant. That’s not the whole of it but I know I’m not making any sense right now and I’ve made tons of errors. There’s been a long gap since I’ve written anything worry to be read.
I’ve got favor I want to share later. Yes, these favors are for said party. I really couldn’t resist passing up this opportunity to make something.
2008
Last year was a blur. Memories were made and hopefully won’t be forgotten. Hopefully 2008 will bring a lot of good surprises. Like a real post. Har har har
Hello there.
Well here I am, two weeks after starting up a new blog on a different format than normal and I know it’s going to take some time getting accustomed to it. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get in the groove of blogging on a regular basis nor will anyone will give a flying rats ass or not. Everytime I think of something I want to write here I will forget or deem it too stupid to share with anyone.
It’s just going to take more time now.

uh.. I had this great idea today where I was going to write a blog entry and I was going to feel like I accomplished something… Nope.
